Well, looks like anti-Trump FBI lawyer Lisa Page will not be appearing before Congress, after all.
The woman who had an affair with another anti-Trump FBI official Peter Strzok is defying her Congressional Subpoena.
The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed Lisa Page to appear before the closed-door committee this Wednesday.
However, Page’s legal team claims their client was not wasn’t given enough time prep time.
Freedom Caucus members Meadows, Jordan and DeSantis blasted Page earlier for ignoring a Congressional subpoena.
House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte released a tweet and made it clear that Congress will use ALL the TOOLS at their disposal to obtain her testimony.
Lisa Page plans to blatantly defy a congressional subpoena by refusing to appear for her deposition. She is a key witness, and it is critical that she come before @HouseJudiciary to answer questions as part of our investigation. It appears she has something to hide.
